- Save the Date! DMA Summer Camp 2008 is coming June 2nd - June 6th. Guest instructors include Master Xiao Pu Chuan and wushu champion Jiang Jian Jiao.

- A contest was held within our classes to design a bumper sticker for fundraising purposes. Congratulations to Brandon Amalunke who won with the
phrase "Is the Wushu In You?" Ethan Cochran received runner up honors. Great job to all who participated. Look for Brandon's design soon at our CafePress store.
- Support for our team. A new Website has been created at Cafepress
to support our team. Check out our gift items. 100% of the proceeds goes to helping our athletes cover tournament and training expenses.
- GREAT NEWS! Congratulations to Kyle Loehr, Levi Valentine and Clay Kautman for a job well done in Chicago. Kyle placed First in one evnt and Second Place in two events, Levi placed First in two events and Clay placed First in two events. The entire DMA team is proud of each of you.
- D.M.A. is trying to find sponsors to help our team of athletes with the cost of attending some of the regional
and national events. This will allow students to conentrate on training for tournaments without trying to raise funding. Please

- Congratulations to the following students who completed their testing and moved up to the next level: Amy Harper - 1st Red sash: Red Warrior; Kyle Loehr, Joshua Getz, Ethan Cochran - 2nd Purple sash: Purple Mountain; Levi Valentine - 1st Purple sash: Purple Sage; Christina Massey, Ellie Cochran, Micah Silverberg - Blue sash: Blue Water; Marty Loehr, Sebastian Soetomo - Green sash: Green Snake; Eric Shannon - Yellow sash: Yellow Tiger. Each student demonstrated their abilities and knowledge in various techniques and skills as required to progress to their respective levels including the Bible verse memorization.
- Master Perez is hosting a workshop on Saturday, September 15th. This class is for anyone interested in
learning Wushu tricks and techniques, from the beginner to the advanced martial arts student. The class will cover basic body
dynamics which create an awesome energy-driven performer. Please contact Mr. Perez at 623-332-8632 for details.
- DMA students Clay, Kyle, Levi and Amy participated in the Desert Dragon Tournament. All of them
placed in the tournament.
- NEW! Performance and Workshop requests can now be sent online. Links to both forms are available
on our home page.
- Three DMA students took part in the 2006 Holiday Tournament sponsored by World Martial Arts. All three
students placed for their forms. Kyle Loehr received second and third place for his Staff and Chang Chuan forms,
Amy Harper received first and second place for her Snake and Double Daggers forms and Ethan Cochran received first for his
5 Animals form. Congratulations to Kyle, Amy and Ethan for a job well done!
